DC punk legends and precedent setters Bad Brains recently announced that they’ll be playing four shows in the north eastern United States this April. Joining them on select dates will be New York’s H2O and GZA on others according to Bridge 9 Records. Pre-sale tickets for these shows will begin February 18th at BadBrains.Com. If you’re trying to make it out to any of these shows then make sure not to sleep on these tickets because you’d be a fool to think they wouldn’t go fast after they go up.

I had some really stupid reason for sleeping on this and then I couldn’t remember it and decided to finally check this demo out. Fucking sweet as hell. I feel like Kenny Fucking Powers probably listens to this shit because it’s so fucking badass. Hardstyle shit but not stupid like a lot of bands make this styel this day. I’m into it.

Just released hardcore hardcore from Cleveland, Ohio. FFO: Cro-Mags and FNI. This shit is super fast NYHC-influenced shit, good stuff is going to happen for these guys and I’m really stoked to see what it is. Not sure if this is worth mentioning, but most of these guys were in a short-lived band called Heavy Thoughts about a year ago, so if any of you were into that check this out!

Project X. This band was created to put out a 7” for the third issue of Schism after they couldn’t get rights to do the comp 7” they originally wanted. They only played a few shows, it’s kind of surprising they got as well known as they did under the circumstances.
